At the end of volume 12, there was originally going to be a chapter about Tala. For unknown reasons it was removed. and never published.
-
The chapter was about Tala at the abbey remembering his childhood.
He had "A father who was a proud soldier, and a mother who was kind, cheerful and a great cook."
His father then loses his job and in turn becomes an alcoholic and abuses Tala and his mother.
A year and a half later his mother leaves Tala and his father. To never be seen of again.
His father then became more violent, but Tala stayed hoping it would go back to the way it was.
He started to steal food for himself and his father. He then met Bryan who was in a similar situation.
Bryan and Tala together continued to steal and people became weary of them.
They one day got caught but were saved from punishment by Boris, who was looking for children with great athletic abilities.
- "I held onto faint yet happy memories. But, what appeared when I opened my eyes was a dingy stone paving, shoes that had holes and inside were toe nails that had grew long and became filthy-- it was reality."
-
They soon joined Boris and lived at the abbey.
It returns to the present time and Bryan being unsure about their future.
- "What are you looking at?" - Bryan
- "The future" -Tala
"To control the world through beyblading. That bright future, was the future that stood ahead of me."
